After - પછી (ક્રમ દર્શાવે છે )
E.g. Winter comes after monsoon
Give up - છોડી દેવું.
Eg. You shoud give up drinking wine.
Made of - જ્યારે કોઈ એક વસ્તુ માંથી અન્ય વસ્તુ બનાવવામાં તેનું મૂળ સ્વરૂપ બદલાઈ ના જાય ત્યારે
E.g dress is made of silk.
Made from - જ્યારે કોઈ એક વસ્તુ માંથી અન્ય વસ્તુ બનાવવામાં તેનું મૂળ સ્વરૂપ બદલાઈ જાય ત્યારે
E.g. - curd is made from milk.
By - ના થી (જ્યારે કોઈ ધંધાથી સંકળાયેલા હોય તે જાણવા)
- e.g. She is a nurse by profession.
In - માં (જ્યારે કોઈ પેમેન્ટસ cash મા દર્શાવેલ હોય ત્યારે.
E.g. she paid in cash(રોકડ).
By - થી , વડે(જ્યારે કોઈ પેયમેન્ટ્સ cheque or Instalment મા દર્શાવેલ હોય ત્યારે)
E.g. she paid by cheque.
She paid by Instalments.
Died of - ના થી મૃત્યુ
E.g. He died of malaria.
Died for - ને માટે મૃત્યુ (for nation or noble cause)
E.g. - The soldier died for his nation.
Died from - થી મૃત્યુ (starvation, hunger )
E.g. The child was died from starvation.
Died in - જ્યારે અકસ્માતમા મૃત્યુ થયું હોય ત્યારે
E.g. He was died in an accident.
Beyond - ને પર (અભૌતિક રીતે)
E.g. beyond our thinking.
Through - માંથી પસાર થઇને
E.g. through the jungle.
With - ના થી , વડે (ક્રિયાનું સાધન)
E.g. with pen
In - ના થી,(ક્રિયાનું સાધન પ્રવાહી)
E.g. - in ink.
Some fixed prepositions / prepositional phrase.
Comply with પાલન કરવું.
Banificial to - ને માટે લાભદાયક
Give up - છોડી દેવું.
Accused of - નો આરોપ લાગવો./ લગાડવો.
Greedy for ને માટે લાલાચુ હોવું.
