he Asian Games, also known as the Asiad, will be held in Hangzhou, China from September 10 to 9, 202.  Hongzhou will be the third Chinese city after Beijing and Guangzhou to host the Asian Games or Asiad.  In the Asia Cup, the winners of 6 contests of 206 votes will be decided.  Winners of many sports, including hockey, will get tickets to the 202 Olympics. India won a total of 20 medals, including 19 gold, 4 silver and 21 bronze, at the 2014 Asian Games.

Commonwealth Games, Birmingham

 The Commonwealth Games will be held in Birmingham, England.  More than 5,000 athletes from six countries will take part in the Commonwealth Games, which will be held from July 8 to August 8, before the Asiad.  This is the third time the Commonwealth Games have been held in England.  The previous Commonwealth Games were held in London in the 19th year and in Manchester in 2006.  In the last Commonwealth Games held in Gold Coast in 2016, India won a total of 6 medals with 4 Gold, 20 Silver and 20 Bronze.
