The Indian Criminal Code was first introduced to the Governor General in 1872-73.  But that Oct.  Approved in 1890.  That is, the law came in As stated in Section 1 of this Act, this Act applies to all the states of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir and as per Section 2, this Act applies to every person who is guilty of an offense committed in India.  According to Article 361 of the Constitution of India, the President as well as the Governors of the States are exempted from civil and criminal proceedings.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, rank or nationality.  This law does not apply to any foreigner who comes to India after committing a crime abroad. According to Article 29, a document is considered to be a statement if any thing is described in terms of words or symbols and it is intended to be used as evidence.  This is provided in clause-28.  

The term has been used in reference to counterfeit notes, stamps, counterfeit coins. According to Article 11 of this Act, the word person includes a child born or born.  A person is considered to be a child if it is in the mother's womb but has developed to the extent that it can be called a child.  The term person includes a company organization or a group of individuals. 

General Knowledge Test

Some crimes like murder, lying partner, rape, divorce etc. can only be committed by living persons.  Artificial individuals cannot commit such crimes.  Therefore, he cannot be charged with these crimes.  As per Article 22, all types of idol properties are included in movable property.  It does not include land and things permanently attached to the land.
